Why did you build Arbory?
I've never been able to consistently keep my notes somewhere useful. I built Arbory to fix that — one place for book notes that connects to everything else.
Can I just track my reading without taking notes?
Yes. Arbory works fine as a plain reading tracker — log sessions, track progress, see your stats.
Why not just use ChatGPT or Claude?
Those are great for thinking, but they're not systems of record. Notes you create in those tools get buried in conversation history, have no structure, no library, no way to see your reading life in one place, and no clean way to get it all back out.
Arbory is built to store your reading — every book, session, note, and quote — as structured data. You can then interact with your data using the chat in the app, or connect it to your preferred assistant that connects to all your other data.
Is Arbory AI native?
